Founder and CEO of CoffeeCup Software

Built a revolutionary software company from the ground up by pioneering development of the CoffeeCup HTML Editor, an application enabling non-technical users to develop personal and business websites. Spearheaded comprehensive daily operations and maintained P&L accountability. Drove design and development for another 20+ software programs and services, including web hosting, search engine submission, and custom software for Mattel, GE, and other clients. Grew business by forging strategic partnerships with major distribution sites including CNET and Ziff-Davis and lead all marketing initiatives. Managed website activities, e-commerce system, and email newsletter distribution to millions of users monthly. Continuously updated product line to maintain competitive advantage, enhance features, and harness emerging technologies.

• Grew company from idea into a provider of 40M+ downloads of 20+ software applications.
